Se si vuole usare il 3D e non ti fai problemi ad inrlltaase driver binari, sono d'accordo con te.Tuttavia produrre un driver binario (per quanto buono) ed ostacolare in ogni modo lo sviluppo di un driver open, fatico a definirla  amicizia .La ATI invece ha rilasciato tutta la documentazione necessaria per scrivere driver open, che infatti migliorano ad ogni release anche se ancora non sono al livello dei proprietari.
