Hello Joshua,You have to start BSD installation with mamxuim 30 gb disk space for boot partition. After installation, you can add more disk space to other partitions but boot partition shouldn't exceed 30 gb. I suggest you to use 20 gb for boot partition.BTW, if you exceed this value, you'll see boot failure after installation.Yusuf.
