I followed these instructions for Fedora 15 for Radeon HD 6310. After the driver was installed, the picture in KDE became sharper, but that was about it. It complained of errors when installing. Windows tear badly when moving them around. OpenGL doesn't work at all.

I am not sure what to do. Fedora is the only Linux distro that boots into a usable UI (in "Basic Graphics Mode"). All the other Linux distros boot into a black screen.
